1. Who we are

GrantReady is operated by FMNLive LLC ("we", "us"). We act as the data controller for the personal data we collect about you in connection with the Service.

2. What we collect

• Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), organization name.
• Content data: grants, tasks, reports, budgets, files and other content you create in the Service.
• Support data: messages you send us when you contact support.
• Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps, and basic device identifiers.

Payment data (card numbers, billing address) is collected directly by our Merchant of Record, Paddle, and is not stored on our systems.

3. Why we use it

• To create and operate your account (contract performance).
• To provide the GrantReady Service (contract performance).
• To keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and abuse (legitimate interests).
• To improve the Service and develop new features (legitimate interests).
• To respond to support requests (contract performance).
• To send essential service emails (contract performance) and, with your consent, occasional product updates.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Who we share it with

• Service providers / subprocessors who help us run the Service, including hosting, database, email delivery and analytics providers.
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for sale of our products, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
• Authorities where we are required to by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after to handle support, legal and accounting obligations. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You can also withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@grant-ready.lovable.app. If you are in the UK or EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

7. International transfers

Our systems and subprocessors may be located in the United States and other countries. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or EEA we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and row-level security, to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

9. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We may also use limited analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.
